Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Haar

Haar, Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Haar passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 90 years. She was born April 7, 1920 in Bay City. Betty was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and it's Ladies Aid. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Bonnie and Jerry Dueweke, two grandchildren; Stacie and Mark Murphy and Dan Dueweke, six great grandchildren; Carson, Emma, Jonah and Mya Murphy and Payton and Devin Dueweke, one sister-in-law; Joann Wood and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Haar in 1995 and two brothers; Donald and Dick Wood. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bay Medical Care Facility 1-east and the activities department for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. Haar during the time they cared for her. At the request of Mrs. Haar cremation has taken place and a private family graveside will be held at Floral Gardens Cemetery.
