Eloise passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Bay Medical Care Facility at the age of 93 years. She was born in Bay City on March 11, 1928 to the late Harold and Matilda (Gottleber) Heitzig. On March 31, 1951 she married Harold F. Lisk, and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1993 after 42 years of marriage. Eloise attended grade school at Zion Lutheran Church and graduated from Central High School. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church all of her life and a member of the choir for many years. Walking started as soon as the weather permitted. She loved the Bay City Riverwalk and her favorite was the Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk. Camping was an all summer event, Otsego Lake being her favorite destination. She also loved traveling with her sister Joan to Shipshewana, casino bus trips and kept busy dancing at the Moose Lodge with Fritz. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida and Arizona. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Eloise is survived by her children, Terrance (Laurie) Lisk, Kevin (Lora) Lisk, Karen Michael (Jourdan Braman), Tracie (Brett) Ratell and Jason (Leigh Leslie) Lisk; grandchildren, Tara Lisk, Melisa (Bryan) Albrecht, Rochelle (Jeremy) Monville, Kyle Lisk, Tiffany (Randy) Badour, Charles Michael (Jesi Lemons), Jenna Michael (Brandon Kozic), Aaron Michael and Sawyer Ratell; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Colton, Jonah, Jaxon, Emersyn, Whitley and Finn and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lois, Lorraine and Joan and special friend, Norman "Fritz" Adams.
Funeral and committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Schilke with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mrs. Lisk will be taken to the church to lie in state on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
