Eric Eugene Evans

Eric passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the age of 46. Eric worked as a CNC machinist for 25 years, he was a member of the Flying Eagles Club, loved Volkswagen Buggies, hunting, fishing, kayaking, maple syrup tapping, cooking, working on cars and camping. Eric was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do and if he could not do it he would figure out a way to get the task done. He brought much joy to everyone that knew him with his enthusiasm for life and learning, and his goofy whit. He had a gift for connecting with people.

Eric is survived by his son, Zachary Evans and his significant other, Monica McRorey and her son, Sean McKee; father, William Evans; mother, Joan Prentice; two sisters, Amy Thompson and Ashley Evans; grandmother, Erika Brace; nephews, Nevin Thompson and Ty Thompson and many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bangor Township Hall (3921 Wheeler Rd., Bay City, MI 48706) Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Flying Eagles, Inc. Please bring a dish to pass.
