Ethel M. Kaunitz

Kaunitz, Ethel M. Sanford, Michigan (Formerly of Bay City) Mrs. Kaunitz passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Lords Nursing Home in Waterford Township. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late Charlie and Lucy (Wright) Myers was born March 8, 1917 in St. John's Michigan She is survived by one daughter; Joyce Walker of Sanford, three grandchildren; Glen Walker of Oxford, Dawn Walker of Clarkston and Dana (Don) Schwab of Midland, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. On June 19, 1937 she married Glen Kaunitz and he preceded her in death in 1973. Mrs Kaunitz was preceded in death by one granddaughter Peggy Ann Walker, her two sisters; Evelyn Figg and Josephine Phinney. A memorial service will take place Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. At the request of Mrs. Kaunitz cremation has take place and private inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday to receive visitors from 12:00 Noon and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the American Cancer Society will be available at the funeral home.
