Eunice I. Fylling

Eunice passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan at the age of 90 years. She was born in Bay City on June 18, 1930 to the late Henry and Irene (Reed) Coyer. On August 8, 1953 she married Louis Fylling and he passed away on October 19, 2010 after 57 years of marriage. Eunice graduated from St. James High School in 1948 and from Mercy Central School of Nursing in Grand Rapids in 1951. She started as a Registered Nurse in 1951 at Mercy Hospital and retired from Bay Regional Medical Center in 1986.
Eunice is survived by her children, Louis W. (Sue) Fylling, Scott (Peggy) Fylling and Lisha Bauer; grandchildren, Courtney Fylling, Zachary (Lauren) Fylling and Crystal (Justin) Fulco; great grandchildren, Madison Sinicki, Eghan and Ashton Fulco; great great granddaughter, Graclyn; brother, Duane Coyer; sisters, Nina Swaton and Evelyn O'Farrell; sisters-in-law, Sally Cruppenink, Janie Collins and Margie Batzer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Henry Coyer, Don Collins and Edward Batzer and sister, Elaine Barmella.
Funeral and Comital service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time.
