Eveline M. Picardy

Picardy, Eveline M. Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Picardy passed away early Saturday morning, July 21, 2012 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 92 years. The daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Janowiak) Pawlicki was born September 9, 1919 in Bay City. Mrs. Picardy was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, baking and cooking. She is survived by three children and their spouses; Barbara A. and Milton Williams, Mary L. and Ronald Naumowicz all of Bay City, Charles E. and Patricia Picardy of Grand Rapids, her grandchildren; Julie (Robert) Pelton, Jacqueline (Gary) Wontorcik, Edwin (Julie) Haapala, Eric (Pam) Haapala, Lori (Matt LaBrie) Haapala and Jamie (Will) Picardy-Tilton and Thoma Picardy, seven great grandchildren, one sister; Patricia Johnston. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Arthur Roy Picardy, one daughter; Betty Jean Picardy, her sisters and brothers. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Cathy Converse Pastoral Minister of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with private interment in St. Patricks Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
