Evelyn Mae Weiss

Mrs. Weiss our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at Sheffield Place. The daughter of the late William Floyd and Caroline (Martens) Sharp was born October 26, 1928 in Bay City. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Left behind to cherish her memories are her loving children and their spouses; Susan and Gary Roth of Auburn, Jeanne and Fred Huff of St. Joseph, MI, Scott and Ann Weiss of Bay City, eleven loving grandchildren; Amanda (Rick) Hus, Benjamin (Jessica) Roth, Eric (Samantha) Roth, Christopher Roth, Marcus Huff, Peter Huff, Joseph (Alana) Huff, Andrew Weiss, Sarah Weiss, Michael Weiss and Matthew Weiss, five great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law; Carol Sharp, Luella Prime and Norma Weiss, one brother-in-law; Ron Trezona. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Erwin F. Weiss whom she married October 28, 1950, her brothers, sisters and brothers-in-law; George Sharp, Ruth Weiss Johnston, Robert Sharp Betty and Edmund Kernstock, Rose Trezona, Wilmar Weiss, Norman Weiss and Neil Prime. Funeral Services will take place Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Paul D. Theiss with interment following in the Church Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Mrs. Weiss will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
