Ferdinand J. Zeilinger

Ferdinand passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Covenant Harrison at the age of 101 years. He was born in Frankenlust Township on November 17, 1919 to the late Ernest and Margaret (Bauer) Zeilinger. On May 6, 1944 he married the former Arlene Fateiger and she preceded him in death on August 25, 2008 after 63 years of marriage. Ferdinand was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and retired after many years as a farmer. He also worked for Dean Farm Equipment and was a member of the L.F.A.
Ferdinand is survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gerhardt (Matilda), Richard and Ernest (Wilma) Zeilinger; sister, Selma (Christ) Helmreich and Edna (Lloyd) Wicker.
Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Kurt Eichinger with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
