McCollum, Florence M. Essexville, Michigan Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at her home in Essexville, Michigan in the morning hours of Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late John and Florence (Coupie) Biskner was born in Kawkawlin Township, Michigan on March 16th, 1929. For many years Florence was extremely active with her church, In His Presence Ministries. In her spare time she enjoyed attending book club, gardening and taking care of her flowers, spending time and taking care of her close friends, children, and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Sherry Taylor and Sandra McKinney; Four grandchildren, Tracey (Louis) Muldrow, Patrick (Stacy) McKinney, Jennifer (Kevin) Novellino, and Chad Taylor; Seven great grandchildren, Nicole, Stephen, Brittney, Kailyn, Christian, Sebastian, Isabella; One great great granddaughter, Lilly L. Reer; a significate friend of the family for over 28 years, Ron Williams; a very special care-giver, Wilda Kozlowski; One sister-in-law, Virginia Biskner; and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Duhaime, Virgil Willette, and Osgood McCollum; Three brothers, Clifford Biskner, Carl Biskner, and LeRoy Biskner; Two sisters, Geraldine Shurlow and Shirley Haas. The Funeral Service will take place at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Family and friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home and share memories and stories of Florence between the hours of 12:00 O'clock noon and 5:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Baranek.
