Frankie passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region following a brief illness, at the age of 61. He was born May 5, 1959 in Bay City, Michigan. He was employed at G.M. Powertrain Bay City-Plant. Frankie loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed golfing and was an avid music fan and especially enjoyed listening to Bob Segar and Chicago. He also enjoyed going to garage sales, classic movies, going to comic con with his children and was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan and University of Michigan fan.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 30 years, Tina Gonzales; daughter, Marissa (Joe), son, Austin and daughter, Olivia; grandchildren, Hendrix, Penelope and Sol; brothers and sister, Bill (Lucy) Gonzales, Gloria Diaz, Raul Gonzales, Tommie (Ann) Gonzales, Oscar (Mary) Gonzales, Bobby (Liza) Gonzales and Raphael Gonzales; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Duane and Carol Barnard; sister-in-law, Tammy (Tim) Bennett, many nieces, nephews, family members and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Josefa (Lopez) Gonzales and one brother, Joe Gonzales.
Funeral service will take place Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. with cremation following. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service to receive family and friends. We are under the governors' order of 25 visitors in the chapel at one time and masks must be worn and social distancing is being observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
