Frederick V. "Fred" Jeske

Fred passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at his residence, at the age of 87. The son of the late Joseph and Hazel (Grandmaison) was born May 23, 1939 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Fred retired form G.M. Powertrain-Bay City. He enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife the former Kathryn A. “Kay’” Provo whom he married November 19, 1960, two sons, Jody (Rachelle) Jeske Sr and Michael (Patty Cole) Jeske; his grandchildren, Jody (Tiffaney) Jeske Jr., Logan Jeske and Hannah (Devyn Woodruff) Jeske; his great grandson, Wesley Jeske; his nieces, Carrie Pennicooke and Jan Jeske; his great nephews, Warren (Nick) Pennicooke and Jae (Shelby) Pennicooke. In addition to his parents her was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Kay Jeske.

At the request of Fred Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Kawkawlin, Michigan. The family will be present to receive family and friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning and expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
