Galen M. Beauch

Galen passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at his residence at the age of 64. The son of the late Merle and Hedwig (Cholger) Beauch was born April 7, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan. Galen graduated from John Glen High School in 1976, was an Eagle Scout and took first place in the Plymouth Trouble Shooting Contest in 1976. He was the former owner of Bay City Roofing and Hardway Racing, the former race director at Dixie Motor Speedway and Tri City Motor Speedway. Galen loved everything to do with cars and racing and had a brilliant mind for building racing engines.

Galen is survived by his son, Shaun (Michelle) Beauch; daughter, Sharon (Adam) Hughes; eight grandchildren, Trenton, Joey, Michael, Brooke, Ariana, Hayden, Ashley and Brady; one great grandson, Walker; long time special friends, Shannon Seamans and Larry Boggs and his dog, Cocoa. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his special cousin, Craig Hahn and many other aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
