Geri passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the age of 72. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1951 to the late Walter and Jane (Olszewicz) Wiezbowski. She volunteered at McLaren Bay Region. She enjoyed golfing, boating, going for walks and putting together puzzles. She loved her animals, especially her fur babies Flex and Charlie. She also enjoyed going shopping, dressing up for every occasion and loved dancing to music. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her job of being a Pit Boss at the Windsor Casino, Hollywood Casino and Ceasars Casino.
Geri is survived by her children, Jason Tinwick, Lindsay (Wayne Chauvin) Tinwick and Scott (Marion) Galea; grandchildren, Samantha and Georgia Chauvin, Todd (Stephanie) Begley and Alex (Taylor) Jean; great grandchild, Callahan Begley; significant other, Bill Weisheim; sister, Carol (Jerry); brother, Kenny; nieces and nephews, Bobby (Julie), Michael (Nancy) and Patti (Pete). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elaine (Bob) and sister-in-law, Shirley.
In honoring the wishes of Geri, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service is being held. Memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine's name to the Bay County Humane Society.
