Geraldine R. Smithingell

Geraldine passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 92. The daughter of the late Herbert and Mabel (Smith) Lohr was born October 10, 1933 in Au Gres, Michigan and enjoyed sewing and knitting.

Geraldine is survived by many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Smithingell and eight brothers and sisters.

At the request of Geraldine, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission.
