Glenn W. McQuarter Sr.

Glenn passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 75 years. He was born at home in Pinconning on April 6, 1947 to the late David and Helen (LaLonde) McQuarter. Glenn attended and graduated from St. Michael's School in Pinconning. On April 24, 1965 he married the former Judy Jasman and they were married for 57 years. Glenn worked and retired from Bay Cast in Bay City after 57 years of service. Glenn was an avid bowler since the age of 18 and achieved one 300 game and one 800 series. He also enjoyed golfing and casino trips.
Glenn is survived by his wife Judy; son, Glenn Jr. (Cindy) McQuarter; daughter, Sherri (Sam Jr.) Brown; grandchildren, Alex (Hayden Prillwitz) McQuarter, Shanna (Matthew) Campau and Tiffany (Travis) Buda; great grandchildren, Easton, Wyatt, Marleigh and one on the way. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Delores Reyes, Lillian Mahan, Shirley McQuarter, Jerry McQuarter Sr., David McQuarter and Margaret Dybas.
Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Per Glenn's wishes cremation will take place following the service. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
