Gloria A. Gittins

Gloria A. Gittins one of twelve children born to the late William and Ella (DuRussel) Markel passed away peacefully at Brian's House on Monday, May 16, 2022. Gloria was a retired nurse at Bay Medical Center, a business owner and a member of the Eastern Stars. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, boating, riding motor cycles, playing the mandolin, traveling and crafting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cheering for Ray at the racetrack and wintering in Florida.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 38 years, Raymond D.; children, Paul (Patti) Cwiklinski, Janice (Dennis) Spiker, Rose (Mark) AuBuchon, Julie (Rick) Koch and Tracie (Sam) Kent; grandchildren, Krysta (Kevin) Cook, P.J. (Holly) Cwiklinski, Lauren Mae (Aaron) Cook, Christian Spiker, Evan (Melissa) Deska, Emily Reder, Ethan, Eric and Ellen Kent; great grandchildren, Keyan, Kyler, Quin and Kash; brother, Bernard (Nancy) Markel; sister, Yvonne Elliot and many nieces and nephews.
At the request of Gloria, cremation has taken place, a private family memorial service will take place at a later date. The family of Gloria would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Bay County Care Facility and the staff at Brian's House. Contributions may be made to Brian's House.
