Harold Miles Schwab

Schwab, Harold Miles Bay City, Michigan Mr. Schwab passed away early Wednesday morning January 23,2013 at his residence. Age 93 years. He was born June 1, 1919 in Bay City, Michigan. He retired from Resistance Welding Co. as a machine builder and served in the United States Army during WWII. He is survived by four children; Mary Jo and Phil Auer, David and Susan Schwab, Denise Schwab and Daniel and Mitzi Schwab, six grandchildren; Jennifer (Jay) Tinkler, Clinton (Janet) Auer, Sara (Brad) Heydens, Becky (Tim) Diehl , Amanda (fiancé Matt Gwizdala) Schwab and Emily Schwab, two great grandchildren; Julia Auer and Adam Heydens, one brother; Fred(Luella) Schwab, one sister; June (Ken) Keyser, two special friends; Jack Covieo and Bill Wilson and many nieces and nephews. On August 23, 1947 he married the former Marion Crowl in Visitation Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on February 5, 2001. He was also preceded in death by his parents; William and Edna Schwab, four brothers; Bernard, Henry, William and Charles Schwab and one sister; Ethel Lapan. Funeral services will take place Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Chaplain Doug Basset with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery under the Auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
