Bud passed away early, Sunday morning, January 15, 2017 at Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities. Age 78 years. The son of the late Harold and Hazel (Brown) Wittkopp was born September 4, 1938 in Bay City. He retired from Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw after 36 years of service. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing and was well known for making fishing jigs and lures. Bud proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Left behind to cherish his memories are one son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Alice Wittkopp; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Amber, Zachary, Mandy and Madison; his great granddaughter, Kyleigh; one sister, Marylou Wittkopp. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Alda Wittkopp; one daughter Dotty Wittkopp; two granddaughters, Holly Wittkopp and Samantha Starr. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive visitors from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
