Ida McFarland

Mrs. McFarland passed away early Wednesday morning May 5, 2010 at her residence at Red Oak's. Age 89 years. She was born September 26, 1920 in Clam Union Township, Michigan. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Wayne and Stacey McFarland and one granddaughter; Aubrey Moniz all of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald McFarland on July 16, 2003, her parents; Lammert and Tresa Smitter and one brother; Elmer Smitter. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Deb and the Staff at Red Oak's and Kristen at American Home Health and Hospice Care for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mrs. McFarland. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private Interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Memorial cards for American Cancer Society or American Home Health and Hospice Care will be available at the funeral home.
