Irven L. McEachern

McEachern, Irven L. Bay City, Michigan Mr. McEachern passed away on October 7, 2017 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 87 years. Mr. McEachern was born December 9, 1929. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Mr. McEachern served his country in the U.S. Army and was involved with the Bay City St. Patrick's Day parade for the past 54 years. Mr. McEachern is survived by his wife, Rose McEachern; three children, Bonnie (Rick) Emeott, Scott (Colleen) McEachern and Janice Rasmussen; two grandsons, Rick Jr. (Christina) Emeott and Todd (Ashley) Emeott; three great grandchildren, Ally, Zac and Joey and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. McEachern was preceded in death by two sons, Rudy Ratz and John McEachern. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Amy Terhune followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers Memorial cards for the Toni and Trish House will be available at the funeral home.
