Isabelle B. Neigebauer

Izzy passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Close to Home Assisted Living at the age of 95. She is the daughter to the late Charles and Caroline (Fischer) Stickle and was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 8, 1927. She married her husband, Arthur Neigebauer on October 29, 1949. Izzy dedicated her life in taking care of her family and volunteered at the local hospital when she could. She was a very social butterfly who would make a friend wherever she went.  She was an avid golfer who also enjoyed, traveling, going to the casino, sewing, solving puzzles, and making crafts.

Izzy is survived by her three children, Kent Neigebauer, Steven (Linda) Neigebauer and Judith (Mark) Emge; six grandchildren, Tim (Beth) Braley, Kristin (Jack) Divine, Emily Neigebauer, Bethany Neigebauer; Drew (Maira Charone) Emge, Amy Eno and her partner, Matt Vinci; six great grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Ariel, Iara, Grady, and Izzy, sister-in-law, Joanne Neigebauer and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Isabelle is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Neigebauer; brother, Charles Stickle; sister, Donnabelle Carter, and daughter-in-law, Marcia Neigebauer.

The family would like to thank everyone at Close to Home Assisted Living-Raymond St. Facility for their wonderful care while Izzy was one of their family members. Also, our heartfelt thanks to the medical care providers and staff of Careline Physician Services and Careline Hospice for everything they did to help make her last days as comfortable as possible.

At the request of Izzy, a private Visitation will take place at a later date with private Inurnment at The Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Izzy's favorite charities, American Cancer Society, Make a Wish Foundation, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
