Ishmael passed away peacefully on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Brittany Manor in Midland, Michigan at the age of 46. He was born on July 29, 1976 to Melvin Mondaine and Denise Bailey in Chicago, Illinois. He loved basketball and racing cars.
Ishmael is survived by his mother, Denise Bailey; brother, Charles Hozier; sisters, Lekesha Bailey and Tiffany Mondaine; special aunt, Sherry Jones and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great aunts and great uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Melvin Mondaine; grandfather, Charles Bailey and grandmother, Margurite (Hozier) Bailey.
In honoring the wishes of Ishmael, a private interment has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family.
