Jacqueline A. Ruegsegger

Mrs. Ruegsegger passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Bay Special Care Hospital at the age of 71. The daughter of the late Wayne and Virginia (Johannes) Sheppard was born April 9, 1949 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Ruegsegger was the owner of J and L Transport Inc. and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, traveling, taking day trips, jewelry, purses, shoes and always having her home open for family and friends.
Mrs. Ruegsegger is survived by her three children, Mark (Jennifer) Ruegsegger, Matthew (Keri) Ruegsegger and Sara (Josh) Werner; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Sally) Sheppard and Charles Sheppard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard (Terrie) Ruegsegger, Lynn (Ronald) McNally and Karen (Dennis) Jozwiak and many special nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alan Ruegsegger.
Funeral and Committal services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive visitors on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
