James R. Behrmann

James passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Close to Home Assisted Living, at the age of 71. The son of the late Edwin and Lucy (Goss) Behrmann Sr. was born May 15, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. James worked at Saginaw Steering Gear and enjoyed fishing. James proudly served his country in U.S. Army during Vietnam.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his brothers, William (Mary Jo) Behrmann and Oscar (Patricia) Behrmann; his sisters-in-law, Lynn Behrmann, Joan Behrmann and Pam Behrmann; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Edwin Behrmann Jr., Robert Behrmann, Gerald Behrmann and Carl Behrmann; Nancy (Marvin) Appold, Sally Nagel and Ruth Ann (Russ) Lane.
At the request of James cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (706 W. Jane St., Bay City, Michigan 48706). Officiating will be Rev. Jacob Reich with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the church on Saturday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
