James L. Carson "Jim"

Jim passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 76. He was born, September 9, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James and Louise (Hunnicutt) Carson. Jim was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman who loved his dogs, Tia, Lucy and Reba.

Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sue Carson; four children, Terri (Mark) Vanover, James (Nancy) Carson, Holly Torok and Jennifer (Donald) Kaczowski; six grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Max, Hayley, Allison and Amaliea; five great grandchildren and brother, Jerry Carson. In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Walters and grandchild, Alexis.

A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Bay Valley Christian Church. Officiating will be Pastor Dave Ferranti. Visitation will take place Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to wishes of the family.
