James Calvin Densmore

James went peacefully home to be with his Lord on January 10, 2023 at the age of 98. He was born in Reese, Michigan on August 26, 1924 to the late John and Thelma (Smith) Densmore. James was a lifetime member of New Life Missionary Church where he also taught Sunday school for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, camping and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his three children, Janet Densmore (Bob), Bonnie (Richard) Love and Yvonne Aeder (Butch); two grandchildren, Lynnette (Michael) Weidner and Jonathan (Michelle) Carmona; five great grandchildren, Jonathan (Meagon) Carmona II, Chandler Jones, Grace Weidner, Lauren Weidner and Jackson Weidner; two great great grandchildren, Anthony Carmona, Liam Carmona and sister, Faith Austin. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his wives, Helen Densmore, Verena Densmore and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at New life Missionary Church. Officiating will be Rev. Jonathan Boyer with private interment taking place at Denmark Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at New Life Missionary Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be considered to New Life Missionary Church.
