James A. Reaume

James passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side at the age of 84. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on September 18, 1939 to the late Floyd and Florence (LaFreniere) Reaume. He worked for General Motors for many years, he married his wife Patricia, on February 27, 1960. James enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, working on his yard, roller skating, loved his three dogs Heidi, Cindy, Bailey and spending time with his family.

James is survived by his wife, Patricia; four children, Theresa (Joseph) Wiedyk, Patricia (Roy) Davis, James (Cheryl) Reaume, and David Reaume; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Calkins and Joshua (Brianna) Wiedyk; four great grandchildren, Emma Calkins, Austin Wiedyk, Aiden Wiedyk, and Camden Wiedyk; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his three brothers, Floyd, Bernard, and Harold; four sisters, Helen, Delores, Ann, and Shirley.

At the request of James, Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
