James A. Wakefield Sr.

Mr. Wakefield passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region at the Age of 77 years. The son of the later Albert and Goldie (Chapman) Wakefield was born December 9, 1935 in Bay City. He was retired from Saginaw Steering Gear as a job setter. He enjoyed camping and watching T.V. He is survived by three children; James Wakefield Jr. of Saginaw, Patrick Wakefield and Lynn Peridore both of Bay City, his grandchildren; Michelle (Scott) Levy, Melanie Peridore and Daniel Peridore , two great grandchildren; Nathaniel and Emma Levy, two sisters; Linda (Dale) Spencer and Betty (Ernie) Harman, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife; Rose Mary Wakefield and one sister; Barbara Furtaw. Funeral Services will take place Friday, February 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Craig L. Albrecht with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 o'clock Noon until the time of services.
