James V. Walczak

James passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Bay County Medical Care Facility at the age of 77. The son of the late Victor and Delphine Walczak was born January 12, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan. James devoted many years to General Motors, he loved animals and camping, enjoyed going to the casino, smoking in his garage, going for rides, going out to dinner and telling stories to his family and friends.
James is survived by his son, James (Ashley) Walczak; four grandchildren, Terry Watson, Amanda (Jacob) Powell, Grady Walczak and Cooper Walczak; special nephew, Randy (Kelly) Pease; two sisters, Delores Smith and Carolyn (Gary) Kacynski and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Walczak; daughter, Ashley Huggard; son-in-law, Charlie Huggard; two siblings, Clarence Walczak and Lorlie Wittkopp and his two dogs, Summer and Victor.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial cards for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will be available at the funeral home.
