Jane A. Bowden

Bowden, Jane A. of Bay City, Michigan passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Carriage House of Bay City. Age 95 years. She was born April 2, 1916 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life and was formerly employed as a dental assistant/office manager She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Bonnie (Dewey) Scheddel of Bay City, Forest (Marge) Bowden of Bay City, Sandra Whelton of Williamston, MI, James W. (Barbara) Bowden of Mesa, AZ, Kathy (Robert) VanAker of Waterford and Wendy (James) Jenuwine of Macomb, MI, one sister-in-law; Dorothy Bowden Macomb, MI and several great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; William W. and Florence A. (Campbell) Bowden, two brothers; Wilson W. (Margaret) Bowden and Forest J. Bowden and one nephew-in-law; Kenneth Whelton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Carriage House East- North Wing for the kind and loving care they extended to Jane during her stay with them. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial cards for Westminster Presbyterian Church Organ Fund or the Donor's Favorite Charity will be available at the funeral home.
