Janeen K. Ferris

Janeen passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Brian’s House at the age of 86. The daughter of the late Aloysius and Muriel (Sharrow) Piesik was born April 10, 1938 in Bay City, Michigan. Janeen enjoyed reading, gardening and her cat, Duffis.

Janeen is survived by her children, Timothy (Kelly) Ferris, Cindy (Jeff) Hockemeyer and Jennifer (Aaron) Brooks; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas (Ruth) Piesik; several nieces and nephews and her special lifelong friends, Wayne and Diane Holmes and Richard and Priscilla Kiesel. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne J. Ferris; sister, Joan Turmell; sister-in-law, Ethel Brodin and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Lila Ferris.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Marcus Morgan. Visitation will take place on Friday at the Gephart Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
