Janice Kay Johnson

Janice passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 68. The daughter of the late Clarence and Geraldine (Baker) Burgess was born April 11, 1955 in Bay City, Michigan. Janice loved playing bingo and spending all of her time with her late husband of 47 years, William Johnson.

Janice is survived by one daughter, Lisa (John) Killey; one son, Matthew Johnson; two grandchildren, Kyle David Johnson and Faith Elisabeth Johnson; one sister, Mary Burgess-Briggs and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Johnson; two sons, William Steven Jr. and Charles James; one daughter, Kelly Lynn; one brother, Joseph Burgess; two sisters, Shirley Burgess-Beaver and Theresa Burgess.

At the request of Janice, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
