Janie Ann Bartreau

Janie passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 with her family by her side at the age of 56. She was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Judith Dufresne on September 13, 1965. Janie enjoyed going to the Salvation Army where she would spend time with her friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs, playing games on her computer and watching wrestling.

Janie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Harry Bartreau; four children, Kevin Johnson, Matthew Jones and Lisa Jones; step-son, Joshua Bartreau; siblings, Richard Dufresne, Cindy (Ken) Commire) Robin Wise, Joe Dufresne, and Becky Weiler (Rob Quinn); and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her siblings, Butch, Bill, Floyd, Karen and Jimmy; brother-in-law Ricky Wise and sister-in-law, Rebecca Dufresne.

At the request of Janie, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at the Salvation Army at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to wishes of the family.
