Janine M. Olszowy

Janine Olszowy passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Janine was born April 11, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan to Clemence and Nova Olszowy. She was one of nine children and graduated from Bay City Western High School. Janine had a light hearted sense of humor and always had a smile for everyone. She loved spending time with family, enjoying nature, appreciated Polka music and danced a mean Polka every chance she had!

Surviving Janine are her siblings, Ron Olszowy, Linda Miles, Ken (Dr. Lorraine) Olszowy, Kevin Olszowy, Carol (Randy) Goodwin, and Ray Olszowy; nephew, John (Heather) Miles; nieces, Michelle (Adam) Dudycha, Lisa (Steve) Schuman, Kristen Miles, Ceara and Rae Ann Goodwin, in addition to several great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Clemence Olszowy; brothers, Edward and Calvin Olszowy; brother-in-law Craig Miles; stepfather, Leonard Manczak, and mother, Nova (Coupie) Olszowy Manczak.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Gephart Funeral Home from 10:00am to 12:00 pm on Monday, July 24, 2023 where memories and stories can be shared. A brief Funeral service will be held, starting at 12:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the family or a tax-deductible donation can be made to The Michigan Parkinson Foundation in her name.
