Jason Daniel McCauley

Those we love don't go away, we will think of you every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and forever dear. Jason was a kind, loving, genuine, happy and passionate person. He was born on December 28, 1988 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 16th, 2023 at his home in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Jason graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics. Jason pursued his passion in life and became an expert bicycle mechanic working in St.Pete. Jason was equally passionate about life, never wasting a minute. He spent more time at the beach in his 34 years than most people would in three lifetimes. He loved biking, kiteboarding, paddle boarding, snowboarding and spending time with all his friends and family. Jason was such a joy to be around. Jason could make you laugh just by looking at you. His goofy sense of humor was one of a kind..  He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and friend to so many. Jason will be reunited with his older brother, Miles, in heaven, and so dearly missed by those still living. We will cling to all the wonderful memories and there were so many. We will love you forever dear Jason.
In addition to his parents, Mike and Brenda McCauley. Jason is also survived by his brother, Ryan (Alyssa) McCauley; nieces, Ella McCauley-Morse, Keelin and Miller McCauley; nephew, Brody McCauley-Morse; grandma, Gwen McCauley; aunts and uncles, Jim (Bonnie) McCauley, Carol Keeler, Chris (Ed) Tobin, Tommy (Ande) Gaffney and Mike Gaffney; great uncle Bob and Sherry McCauley and many cousins, from New York to Michigan. Jason is predeceased by his brother, Miles M McCauley; grandparents, James McCauley, Christina Gaffney (New York Grandma) and Thomas J. Gaffney.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery next to his brother Miles. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Friend's of the Pinellas Trail, P.O.
