Jason Andrew Morse

Jason passed away at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the age of 48. Jason was born February 1, 1977 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, being outdoors, rebuilding electronics and was an exceptional gunsmith. Jason was witty and could light up a room with his humor, stories and smile, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jason is survived by his son, Harrison Neil (Georgia) Morse and Harrison’s mother, Darraugh Opelski; three brothers, Nathan (Tracy) Morse, Donald (Seed) Morse and Philip (Christina) LeVasseur; father and mother, Neil and Lorie LeVasseur; nieces and nephews, Aliyah, Ariana, Athena, Journey, Sadie (Jonah), Dettrick, Jaden and Junie; best friends, Sarah Villanueva and Jen Browne and his rescue dog, Cooper. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence and Geraldine Butterfield and James “Buddy” and Pearl LeVasseur.

At the request of Jason, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Bay County Humane Society.
