Jerry A. Lawler, Sr.

Mr. Jerry A. Lawler, Sr., of Midland, passed away suddenly on Monday June 11, 2012 at his residence, age 67. The son of the late Gordon & Edna (Moll) Lawler, he was born November 20, 1944 in Bay City. Jerry was a member of Midland Baptist Church. He was retired from Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw and was a member of U.A.W. Local 362. Mr. Lawler is survived by his wife of 44 years, Stephanie J. (Kreger) Lawler; his three children, Lisa (Brian) Dubay of Linwood, Jerry Lawler, Jr. and his friend, Thelma of Bay City and Denise Lawler of Bay City; five grandchildren, Brian Jr., Justin, Danielle, Noah and Mason; a sister, Christine Lawler; and three brothers, Tom (Lynette) Lawler, Rick (LouAnn) Lawler and Mike (Diane) Lawler. Besides his parents, Mr. Lawler was also preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Peyton Marie Dubay; and three brothers, Ron and Jack Lawler and Gene Harris. The funeral service will take place at 12:00pm on Thursday June 14, 2012 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Evangelist Pat Boulton. Private interment will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 9:00pm and on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Baptist Church.
