JoAnn Catherine McPeak

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beautiful mother JoAnn Catherine McPeak. JoAnn passed into eternal life on Saturday, August 15, 2026 with her daughters Tracey, Teri and her faithful companion, Brody by her side. JoAnn was born on January 25, 1943 in Midland, Michigan to the late Donald and Eileen (Johnston) Brink. She graduated from Midland High in 1961. She married Terrance A. McPeak on January 4, 1964. JoAnn worked for Losey's Jewelry in Midland and then went on to work at The Linden Hof in Bay City where she met her second family. She loved lighthouses, visiting Frankfort, going to the casino and especially loved spoiling her daughters and her beloved dog, Brody.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her loving daughters, Tracey (Randy) Kluck and Teri McPeak; brothers, Lee (Cathy) Brink and many nieces and nephews including, Judi Bartos, many close friends and her beloved Brody. In addition to her parents, JoAnn was also preceded in death by her husband, Terrance A. McPeak; sister, Sharon (Bernie) Bartos; mother-in-law, Audrey McPeak; sisters-in-law, Judy McPeak and Adelaide Sexton; brothers-in-law, Randy (Diane) McPeak and Robert McPeak; favorite nephews, Brent Bartos and Michael McPeak and her best friends, Linda Reed, Joann O’Neil and Carol Pergande.

The family would like to thank our many friends and family, Americans Hospice, especially her favorite RN, Kristen and Autumn Ridge Homecare for their love and support.

At the request of JoAnn, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Midland, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Americans Hospice.
