Joanne Roberta Gradowski

Gradowski, Joanne, of Bay City, MI, age 88, Joanne was born June 3, 1933 in Bay City, MI. The daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Peplinski) Bukowski.  After graduating from St. Stan's high school Joanne held office and accounting positions with various companies in the Bay City area eventually joining Gougeon Brothers, Inc. in 1974 as the Office Manager.  As the company grew Joanne took on additional responsibilities including acquiring and installing office computers which in the late 1970s was extremely progressive.  She eventually became Treasurer and a Board Member before retiring after 38 years of service in 2011.   Joanne was devoted to supporting her sons with Paul always close by her side.  Left to remember her fondly are sons Paul and Mark (Kathleen), grandsons Christian and Ethan Gradowski, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; sisters Dorothea (Richard) Wiechec and Margie (Al) Szczepanski. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena, 2956 E. North Union Road, Bay City, MI. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. James Bessert. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Private Family Interment will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to American Foundation for the Blind.
