Joanne Patterson

Today we lost our mom, sister, aunt and best friend to all. Joanne was born March 24, 1934 to the late John and Eola Leinberger. She married the love of her life George on July 9, 1955. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2017. Mom will be sadly missed by her children, Bruce (Dru) Patterson, Jennifer (Scott) Henson and her number 2 son, Bob (Chris) Zingg. Her sisters, Delphine Kerr Beverly (Mark) Stange. Grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, Katie, David, Rob, Ashley and Jacob. Many very special nieces and nephews. Special friends, Jeannie, Paul and Molly, and Andy and Trina.
She will be greeted in heaven by her loving husband George, brother and sister-in-laws, Don Kerr, Arlene (Bruce) Camp, Pat (Art) Lee, James (Nancy) Patterson. Special friends, Robert and Shirley Zingg and James Anderson. Mom loved life. No one met her that did not love her and remember her, a quality not many have.
Our family wants to give a special thanks to Hale Creek Manor and Hospice of Michigan/The Care Team Hospice. Your love and support for our mom and our family, it has been amazing.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Stephanie King. The family will be present to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She will be joining George at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hale Creek Manor or The Care Team Hospice.
