John Dennis Coupie Jr.

John passed away, Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 62. He was born on April 6, 1960 to John and Patricia (Stapish) Coupie in Bay City, Michigan. John was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus #414 and worked for Care Enroll for many years where he worked in the I.T. Department. He was a friend to a lot of people who always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing guitar, was an avid collector who collected trains, Hot Wheels, music collection and many other collectible items. John loved the 4th of July, and spending time with his nephew's and niece.

John is survived by his mother, Patricia Coupie; sisters, Teri Weismiller and Joan (Mike) Meyer; brother, Michael Coupie; nephews, John Weismiller, Matthew Weismiller, Luke Weismiller, Andrew (Lindsey) Meyer, Derek (significant other Emily Kraska) and Adam (Keeli Meyer); niece, Emily Meyer; great nephew, Garrett Meyer; very close aunts and uncles, many cousins and numerous special friends. John is preceded in death by his father, John Coupie; grandparents, Edward (Gertrude) Stapish and Jerome (Henrietta) Coupie

Funeral Liturgy will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Richard Fillary with interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Gephart Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friends may also visit with the family at the church on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
