John Kevin Tripp

John passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center at the age of 71. The son of the late John and Lillian (Church) Tripp was born September 20, 1955 in Midland, Michigan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

John is survived by his son, John Tripp; daughter, Shawna (Bret Sheltrown) Tripp; two grandchildren, Addyson Tripp and Jackson Tripp; three sisters, Linda, Dar and Julie and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry and his sister, Bonnie.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
