John Anthony Usewick

John Anthony Usewick, of Bay City, passed away Sunday April 3, 2011 at Brian's House, age 44. The son of the late Edward F. & Joanne C. (Cisler) Usewick, Sr., he was born December 1, 1966 in Saginaw. John was a bass player and loved music and worked for many years in building construction and maintenance. John is survived by his daughter, Alyssa and her mother, Angie (Shane) Wackerle; a brother, Edward F. (Roxanne) Usewick, II; two sisters, Betty Blondin and Sally Shafer; special friends, Linda & Jerry Laraby, Darren Malace and Jody & Kenny Cook; and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, John was also preceded in death by a brother, Allan Edward Usewick. A memorial service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday April 9, 2011 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Sr. Joanne Toohey, O.P. Private inurnment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Saginaw. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian's House or Toni & Trish House.
