Jonathan Clark Pilkey

Jon passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the age of 83. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1942 to the late Edward and Margaret Pilkey. He retired as a Detroit Police Officer after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Detroit Police Officer Association and the Bay City Community Center. He was an avid sportsman who took great pride in his Detroit roots and had a deep love for all of the city’s sports teams.

Jon is survived by his domestic partner of 13 years, Dorothy Black; three children, Greg, Renee and Keith; sister, Judy and Dorothy’s family, Shelly and Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Barbara.

In honoring Jon’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time.
