Joseph Lee Burgess

Mr. Burgess passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 68. The son of the late Clarence and Geraldine (Baker) Burgess was born February 27, 1954 in Bay City, Michigan. Joseph loved spending time with his family, which he was very proud of.
The family would like to thank his daughter, Shirley and grandchildren, Autumn, Gracie and Jeremy for all their compassion and care that they gave to Joseph. Also, a special thank you to his sister, Mary and her husband, Tim Briggs and sister, Jan for the extra help and compassion they have given to Joseph, he could not have done it without you. A special thank you to all of the staff at Close to Home Assisted Living, especially, Kristin Bowley. Fly high and free like an eagle.
A memorial visitation will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
