Joy passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side at the age of 77. She was born on September 30, 1943 to the late Clancy E. "Jack" and Ann (Wopinski) Bellor in Bay City, Michigan. Joy was a previous member of Visitation Church and is currently a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She worked at the Bay Arenac Skill Center (Career Center) and was involved with commercial foods, cooking and food server from 1980 to 1997. She retired from the Bay City schools cafeteria in 2019 and was currently a caregiver at Riversbend Rehabilitation Center. She was also a proud Avon representative for 20 years. Joy was an Elvis collector and loved gardening and baking.
Joy is survived by her children, Ricky (Tammy) Van Paris of Bay City, Debra Burns of Bay City, Duane Van Paris of Linwood and Cherie Van Paris of Port Huron; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother, Roy (Carol) Bellor; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; several close friends and her beloved pet, Shadow. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Darrelle Burns and her great granddaughter, Lillian Marie Van Paris.

The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr, Jose Cabrera. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 65 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn by non-vaccinated individuals. Memorial contributions may be made out to St. Judes.
