Joyce passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Clark at Keller Lake, Grand Rapids at the age of 83 years. She was born in Bay City on April 17, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Angeline (Germain) Seymour. Joyce was a member of Corpus Christi Parish for many years. She worked as a lab technician at the Bay County Health Department and throughout her life donated several gallons of blood thru the American Red Cross. Joyce loved reading books from the Sage Branch Library, her Golden Retriever dogs and spending time outdoors. Most of all she loved her husband, family and being together with them.
Joyce is survived by her children, Lorie (Ken) Stewart, Michelle Erla and Todd (Michelle) Brennan; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; brother, Ronald (Mary) Seymour; sister-in-law, Eileen Seymour and family friend, Carolyn Redwitz. In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; brother, Benjamin Seymour; sisters-in-law, Alice Brennan and Rosemary (Ron) Kaidan and brother-in-law, Lance Worden.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish on Saturday, September 11, 2021. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
