Joyce Ann Obermiller

Joyce passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2022. She was born to the late Aubrey and Dorothy (Thorman) Stewart on May 29, 1952 in Saginaw, Michigan. Joyce was a long time member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved all animals and enjoyed walking her dog, Gracie. Joyce was very close to her family and would never miss an event.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Obermiller; sister-in-law Marie (James) Price; two nieces, Michelle (Dale) Bannick and Janine Stewart; nephew, Ryan Stewart; sister-in-law Nancy (James) Martek; nieces Cali and Tara Martek; nephews Cory and James Martek; niece Alyssa Obermiller; nephews Denny, John and Steve Obermiller and many great nieces and nephews and her friend, Danny Woodcock. In addition to her parents Joyce is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Stewart; brother-in-law, Dennis Obermiller.

Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church 1020 Court St. Saginaw, MI 48602). Officiating will be Pastor Julius Buelow. Private Interment will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
