In Loving Memory of Joyce Sutton
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member, and friend, Joyce Sutton, who peacefully passed away on June 27th 2026 at the age of 93.
She lived a life filled with love, kindness, strength, and grace. She had a passion for traveling, always eager to see new places and create lasting memories with those she loved. She found joy on the golf course, where her competitive spirit and warm smile were equally memorable. Her gardens often reflected her gentle heart, especially through her love of beautiful roses and elegant calla lilies.
To her family, she was a steady source of love, wisdom, and comfort. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. Her grandson, Zachariah Sutton, and her granddaughter, Shaina “Shay” Sutton, were not only her grandson and granddaughter but also her devoted caretakers, and their love and care meant so much to her. Her laughter, stories, and unwavering support will remain treasured memories for all who knew her.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that her love will continue to bloom in the lives she touched. Her legacy is found not only in the family she leaves behind but also in the countless acts of kindness, compassion, and strength she shared throughout her life. She is survived by her loving family, including Dennis (Cheri) Sutton, Tammy (Tim) Mosher, Scott (Jerri) Sutton, along with 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren many relatives and dear friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Ablena Brodin, her loving husband Richard A. Sutton, her son Richard Kim Sutton, her great-grandson Armand S. Hayes, her brothers Donald and George Brodin, and her sister Jeanette Kragenbrink.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
