Judy Ann Engel

Judy passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at her residence at the age of 77 years. She was born in Bay City on September 24, 1943 to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Stahl) Heinitz. Judy worked and retired from Dow Chemical after many years of service as a chemist. She was a member of the Midland Amateur Radio Club with her call of KB8WEE. She also worked for Anderson Midways in Standish for a few years.
Judy is survived by her granddaughter, Mary (William Zander) Engel; sons, Patrick (Jenn) Wilson and Rick Engel; grandchildren, Ciera (Michael) Hart, Shawn Wilson, Alexis Wilson, Amber Wilson and Julia Shemanski; great granddaughter, Elise Hart; sisters, Cathy (fiance Gary Seib) Heinitz and Becky (Larry) Heider; brothers, Larry Heinitz, Jerry Heinitz and Jeff Heinitz and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Wilson; brother, Mark Heinitz and step mother, Florence Heinitz.
